SGCC is the abbreviation of hot-dip galvanized thin steel sheets, where S stands for Steel, G stands for Galvanized, C stands for Cold, and the second C stands for Common. It is made by immersing the cleaned iron parts in a molten zinc bath, and the steel reacts with the molten zinc to form an alloy film through the wetting effect of Flux.

SGCC steel plate is rust-proof and weather-resistant, with excellent anti-corrosion performance, and the anti-corrosion effect in general environment can reach 30-50 years. It has strong adhesion, impact resistance, friction resistance, good long-term anti-corrosion effect, and no maintenance is required.
SECC steel plate also has anti-rust and corrosion resistance, but its formability and paintability are better than SGCC. However, in terms of mechanical properties, the tensile strength and yield strength of SECC are lower than SGCC.

SGCC is mainly used for parts of small household appliances that require good appearance. Due to its corrosion resistance and aesthetics, it is widely used in various occasions that require long-term anti-corrosion.
